How we feel is a reflection of the stories we tell ourselves. If those stories lean positive we feel good, but more often than not the stories are negative, leaving us feeling down. We tend to think that events happen and we have an emotion. In reality that is missing a step. Something happens, we have thoughts about it, and then we have an emotion. Those thoughts will decide if that “something” is positive or negative. Join Dave and Greg as they discuss CBT and the interactive process between the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that dictate our mood, and perspectives. Ultimately learning that if we change the way we think we change the way we feel.
